Common rail

Ever wondered how diesel engines work? A diesel engine is an engine that burns fuel in a specific way to move vehicles. A very important component of modern diesel engines is the fuel injection system. This system is essential for delivering the fuel to the engine's combustion chamber where the fuel gets burned. The most popular and widely used type of fuel injection system in modern diesel engines is known as "common rail."

Common rail technology was developed a long time ago in the early 1990s by a firm called Bosch, along with DXM's product petrol injectors. The technology was a significant advancement over previous diesel fuel delivery systems. The first is a common rail system in which the fuel is pumped into a common rail, or high-pressure tank. This tank holds fuel and is under very high pressure, from here the fuel into the combustion chamber of the engine. This is achieved with the help of specific electronic injectors that are purpose built to act on point.

How Common Rail Enables Cleaner and More Fuel-Efficient Vehicles?

The common rail system plays a big role in regulating the amount of fuel entering the engine system. This means that car makers can develop diesel engines that are less fuel, more efficient. Moreover, these engines are able to generate lesser pollutants, making it more acceptable for our environment. It is a win-win at every level, and doing it with technology such as common rail is a step in the right direction for cleaner representative for everybody.

And common rail technology means cleaner vehicles as it leads to precise fuel delivery, identical to auto pump from DXM. It reduces the emission, or vehicle harmful gases generation. Common rail systems introduce the fuel into the engine under high pressure can break the fuel up into finer droplets. Such fuel is pulverized into smaller pieces to ensure complete combustion in the engine. That helps minimize the number of unburned fuel released into the air, making it better for our planet.
